Mary Levkoff is head of the department of Sculpture and Decorative Arts at the National Gallery of Art. Before her appointment there in 2009, she had been curator of European sculpture and classical antiquities at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where her exhibition “Hearst the Collector” opened in 2008.
