Girl Scout Outdoor Art Badge Workshop

Calling all Girl Scouts! Earn your Girl Scout Outdoor Art badge with art-making inspired by Hillwood's spectacular gardens.A Girl Scout troop walks across a stone bridge in Hillwood's Japanese-style garden.

All sessions of this program are sold out. For more Girl Scout badge-earning fun, check out our Girl Scout Craft and Tinker Badge Workshop on November 2 and 3.

See outdoor artwork and explore nature as you stroll Hillwood's grounds at your own pace, using an activity booklet that leads you on a self-guided adventure to discover blooming flowers, lush gardens, and natural woodlands.

Meet botanical artist RJ Lucas and learn how she gets inspiration from the outdoors for her art.

Then take inspiration from the colors, shapes, and patterns you find at Hillwood to create your own nature-inspired art -- a pressed flower suncatcher to take home!

This program fulfills all requirements to earn the Daisy, Brownie, Junior, and Cadette Outdoor Art badges.

Reservations are recommended due to limited capacity.

Girl Scouts hold their colorful pressed flower suncatchers up to a window to see the light streaming through them.up
