Inside Tchaikovsky’s Seasons: A Concert at Hillwood
With Hillwood's exquisite collection of Russian imperial art as the backdrop, pianist and Levine School faculty artist Efi Hackmey will perform selections from this Russian favorite and discusss the history behind the creation of the piece.
Visitors will have special access to enjoy Hillwood’s Mansion and gardens by twilight from 6 to 7 pm. The concert will begin at 7 pm in the Visitor Center Theater.
Hillwood is delighted to present this program in parntership with The Levine School of Music during their 2012-2013 season. In recognition of Hillwood founder Marjorie Post’s philanthropic support of classical music and the museum’s collection of Russian imperial art, Levine and Hillwood will offer two performances featuring Russian composers.
