At the left is the front of a large stone building. There are grooms with horses and various other people seen in a window or doorway. In the left foreground is a man bending over several hunting dogs with a brass horn lying on the ground beside him. Two people are looking on, one seated and one standing. In the center are three gentlemen dressed in coats, red, blue and pink , each on a grey horse. Nearby is a groom on a horse leading a donkey with pannier filled with dead stags. and other game. In the background are trees and hills and at the right a wooded glen.
